Make-over

Trudie knows first-hand what it costs to paint; tile; re-do kitchens, patios, windows; add a guesthouse. After purchasing this property, the new owners wanted a make over to turn their new home into personalized living space. See what you can do at a reasonable price.

This was a wonderful project! The couple who bought the house were not yet ready to retire, but wanted to get a foot in the Ajijic Market. So they decided to buy a makeover and rent it until they are ready to move here.

So, what did we do?

Repainted the exterior with new paint. Removed racing stripes and the black metal goes Verdigris!

As you enter, note the bright foyer where we installed new, bigger lanterns and posters to brighten the entry courtyard.

The house is furnished with new colourful, Mexican furnishings throughout.

Bedrooms become brighter with pretty Banana Yellow paint.

The painted black floor faux finished to blend with the terra cotta tile.

In the backyard, the grass goes. Patio tiles create a more useful surface for dining under the stars. Garden accents with terra cotta planters and lots of plants.

The wall is cut half way to create a bar for entertaining.

 Fountain is re-tiled, walls repainted, floor tiles installed. Area decorated with planters and plants.
