Step inside and experience for yourself the enchantment of our Lakeside paradise. Retire and begin your most challenging career - enjoying your life!

Much of the promotion for Mexico focuses on the coastal resorts such as Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Ixtapa or Cancun. These areas were designed for tourists; people who spend a couple of weeks vacationing, then return to everyday pursuits. We live in the 'real' Mexico - where people live year-round and are part of the community.

One of the best climates in the world - you'll feel refreshed by the constant year-round temperatures. Located 30 minutes from the Hidalgo International Airport, access to Ajijic from Guadalajara is quick and convenient.

Guadalajara Cathedral

Guadalajara, home of mariachis, tequila and the Mexican hat dance. Located just one hour away from Lakeside.  Enjoy the tree-lined boulevards, parks,Liverpool, Galeria Mall plazas and stately architecture.  You'll discover the old-world charms of Guadalajara where colonial Mexico meets a modern Guadalajara metropolis -- top quality shopping malls, familiar conveniences - Sears, Wal-Mart, Costco.

Come explore the 450-year-old village of Ajijic (pronounced aah-hee-HEEK) where life is slow and easy. Flowers flourish year-round and the warm mountain breezes restore your soul.
